EB thinks he may be getting a lump of coal this year because he ate too much candy last Easter. His been on a Peeps and carrot diet for several months. Hopefully Santa will cut him some slack.
He gave me a note to include in this post for all his friends.
To my friends,
I hope that you have a wonderful Christmas. Don’t forget what this holiday is really all about – the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, the one whose resurrection I help celebrate on Easter Sunday. In the middle of all the TV ads and crazy shopping, it is easy to lose sight of what is really important.
Be grateful – don’t get upset if you don’t get what you want. If you want to give a really great gift this Christmas, give the gift of forgiveness. You don’t even have to wrap it. It never goes on sale, but its free if you really want it to give it.
Be kind, even if you don’t feel like it and think about the needs of others, even if you don’t want to.
Your candy toting, peeps loving friend,
